Transformed Leaders

Where we have found or are finding leaders among us who have Barnabus-like gifts, could we help to bring others along side them, so they might be found, encouraged, built-up, coached and mentored, rebuked, taught, exposed to model(s) that will enrich them in their own walk and service with Jesus? Is there a John Mark who needs to be salvaged for Kingdom purposes and re-commissioned, encouraged and helped to start out again on a missional journey? Is there a Saul who could be a St. Paul, if someone will see in him and speak up for her in ways that will enable the Body to embrace them, welcome them, affirm them, disciple them, commission them and set them free for God’s purposes for them in His Church? (Without Barnabus there might have been no John Mark and St. Paul contributions to the New Testament writings – a large portion of story, truth, exhortation and encouragement which would have been denied to us – though, of course, God would have found another way . . .)
