The Certificate Loan program of the Canadian Baptist of Ontario and Quebec provides a practical opportunity to demonstrate this principle and receive the satisfaction that comes in the knowledge that you are actively sharing in the ongoing proclamation of the Gospel.

Certificate Loans are made to the Canadian Baptist of Ontario and Quebec to assist the Convention in its mission enterprises. Loans are evidenced by promissory notes executed by the CBOQ under its corporate seal and having the following characteristics:

• may be made at any time in multiples of $100.00
• may be made for a term of
  • one year bearing interest at 1.25%
  • two years bearing interest at 1.75%
  • three years bearing interest at 2.0%
  • four years bearing interest at 2.25%, or
  • five years bearing interest at 3.0%
• renewable at the end of the term
• interest payable on the anniversary date each year
• a small penalty is charged for early redemption
• may be designated in support of a loan or mortgage being arranged
