After months of planning, painting, and praying the Thornbury community and Thornbury Baptist church welcomed the Kemu family from DRC Congo.

Pastor Sharon Chapman writes "I wish you could have been at the house when they arrived."

"There was a welcoming party on the street who met them with hugs and cheers,
and then they entered the house.
They walked from room to room in awe. Cinde and Gustave stood in their bedroom looked at how beautifully it was prepared, and then tears formed in their eyes."

"Then they went to the bathroom.  Cinde and Gustave were in there for many minutes and when they came out, Cinde, again with tears in her eyes, said "a bath, I have a bath. WOW.   We were all in tears."
