When meeting with a church, Clint sometimes poses the question: “If this church were to cease to exist would anyone in the surround community notice?” Often there follows a long period of silence.

Jesus said that He would build his church and that the gates of hell would not  be able to withstand its advance. But, how to get there? Many churches are stuck, barely in survival mode, not  harnessing ministry potential nor thinking of and preparing for ministry influence and advance. Many of all generations around us  today are not interested in even attending, let alone in joining a church that has little vision, hope or plans for moving forward into significant ministry. Finances and attendance have decreased significantly.  

There are no quick and easy answers but the Biblical  mandate, perspectives, processes and practices remain. When embraced, they may well result in complete church renewal and resultant Kingdom impact.

We have prepared a Renewal Resource Manual designed to give churches practical  help in understanding and responding to actions necessary for local church renewal. Developed and utilized with Master Divinity College students in mind, we are adapting and making it available to churches. Since in some respects it is a “work in progress,”  we would appreciate your feedback as you use it.
